time sensitive DOERS

Is there a place for the lead Organizations in the US to have a
National Symposium that focusses on quicker ways to get ideas evaluated
to prevent errors (including diagnostic) in healthcare facilities around
the country?

The Peter Pronovost CLABSI study, and surgical Time Outs,
are a good example of the advances that can be made. But even these took
ages to introduce and be widely accepted.

How can we get more ideas
flowing around, more studies and trials initiated, and eventually more
progress?

How can we become time sensitive DOERS, as well as thinkers?
