I hope many of you will read the article about Theranos Labs which begins on the front page of the Oct. 15 Wall Street Journal. Here is a link: http://on.wsj.com/1LNBZRd <http://on.wsj.com/1LNBZRd>

As a pathologist, I have some biases about how lab testing should be done. Based on my experience with Proficiency Testing (PT), I am a PT enthusiast. PT is the only way I know that a lab director can evaluate the accuracy of their results. Laboratory medicine became a science when PT started. How do the clinicians feel?
