Recent research - Diagnostic delays in cancers of the head and neck

One of the best uses of this listserv is to make each other aware of recent publications relating to improving diagnosis or reducing diagnostic error.
I'd like to encourage all you authors out there to let us know when your reports have been published so we can help promote their dissemination. 
Also, if you run across an article of interest, please consider spreading the word.

To get the ball rolling, here's a very interesting, and hot-off-the-press study of delays encountered in patients with head and neck cancer.  We need to start defining how long diagnosis SHOULD take for various conditions, and what can be done to make diagnosis timely.  This kind of research helps identify what types of delays contribute, and which should be prioritized.
