Lessons learned for patients: keep a printed list of the Rx you 
absolutely need and also which Rx your allergic to, and be 
prepared to fight. As a patient you have an absolute right to 
refuse a medication, in spite of this I was given a shot of 
insulin against my will.

As to PCPs, ER physicians, hospital physicians..? None of them 
learned a damn thing.
Their arrogance far out weighed their ability to learn.

As to the PA at the rehab facility, it took her 2 days to lift 
the restricted fluids order and another 2 days till she managed 
to talk with me face to face.
