An interesting new perspective on diagnostic error:

A special salute to Dr Thomas Bolte, and Dr Philip Cory and his wife who have made themselves available to work on hard-to-solve cases. What an incredibly valuable resource! We need more physicians interested in providing second opinions and consultations like this. Besides the usual places people think about (Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Hopkins, etc) and the program at UAB mentioned in the article, are there other programs like this? It would be nice to compile a SIDM directory for patients who need this kind of service.
