Death within 7 days of an ER visit

It is my goal as a patient to know which of those deaths might reasonably
have been expected. For example, few people would be shocked to learn that
the patient with a late stage cancer on palliative care brought in by
family to assess his current and failing status had died less than a week
later.

Those same people might well be shocked to know that the patient sent home
to recover did indeed die shortly thereafter. Big difference and should be
something that could be sorted out quickly, with the latter group
scrutinized.
