As a follow up to my comment about memory training I wondered, if it has not already been done, to ask some experienced medical examination developers to develop a study that focused on case histories with a presenting symptom. And then asking trained HCPs to solve the clinical situation as later presented.
This to be done with HCPs undertaking the test, either with or without memory training that focussed on differential diagnoses?
Could such a test (written or computer structured) be developed without significant biases, so that one could assess whether differential diagnoses memory training was valuable in better choosing the correct diagnosis?
