So...
Are you implying that a single, overarching authority governing healthcare, such as that seen with the VA system, is preferable...? I have worked in the VA system and can personally attest to the fallacy of that proposal. Single governing systems control the information that is generated from those systems. Transparency is much more difficult in those settings. There is no end of historical examples of this.
