NYTimes: Uproar Over Purported Ban at C.D.C. of Words Like ‘Fetus’

So, the #CDC7words aren’t banned from use. They are words to avoid in the budget proposal to get the CDC’s budget passed. Is that the “new truth“ because of the uproar or is that the original truth?
No one is admitting to being the person who initiated this suggestion. No one in the meeting is sharing exactly what happened. But if it was a test to see how people in this country might react, I’m glad our outrage worked.
The Department of Health and Human Services played down a report that officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were told not to use several words in budget documents.
