The relevance of double process theory ( DPT ) to diagnosis

In this attached paper, I question the relevance of dual process theory ( DPT ) in reducing diagnostic errors as DPT has been developed from study of daily life thinking while diagnosis in practice is a scientific process.
Please review and comment on this paper.
