ABMS will host an informational webinar for program directors and prospective candidates on March 27, 2018 at 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm (CT). and to have your questions answered.
Who is eligible to apply?

The ABMS Visiting Scholars Program (https://abms.us15.list-manage.com/track/click?u=35240d3631d96b4b3bbe029c5&id=b79ee99314&e=7c52a231d9) is a one-year, part-time leadership development and scholarship opportunity for early career physicians, junior faculty, fellows, residents, and individuals holding advanced degrees in public health, health services research, and other relevant disciplines.

Scholars attend three 3-day ABMS events, meet with healthcare leaders, and while remaining at their home institutions, conduct projects and research that are relevant to physician assessment, continuing professional development, physician self-regulation, and quality improvement.

In addition, ABMS is pleased to announce two special areas of interest:
* Improving physician diagnosis, offered in partnership with the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation
* Evaluating effectiveness of innovations in orthopedic surgical training and performance improvement, offered in partnership with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
