FDA approves AI device to detect wrist fractures on radiographs

Love the idea while worrying about my radiology colleagues...
This would be especially helpful for my rural ERs where staffing is
marginal and for U/C clinics.

I wonder, could this lead to or be paired with order-it-yourself concepts,
like labs are becoming?
With ultra-low radiation techniques and digital amplification, if public
funding of the costs is removed, could we see a return of mall-kiosk
radiology?
We live in interesting times.
