Taking (or not taking) your pills?

One question is, does the patient sometimes know better than the doctor?

This when pharmaceutical companies need efficacy with their drugs and one wonders whether the initial doses to prove efficacy are higher than needed.

This when we are all genetically different.

This when two or more medications interact.

Etc.
