The theme of the upcoming conference “Diagnostic Error in Medicine – Australia 2019” is “Communicating for Better Diagnosis”.

Here’s an excellent and concise article on the importance of listening, from Mary Dahm, a linguist, and Carmel Crock, the conference co-chair. Mary will be one of the keynote speakers at DEM-AU 2019. This is an excellent article to share with colleagues and trainees.
